Getting to Know the Smart Manager and Applications Manager

The Smart Manager in Settings is the place to go to get an overview of your remaining battery life, storage usage, RAM usage (75% seems normal) and Device Security (status of virus scans etc.).

Just below the Smart Manager you have Applications, which leads into the Applications Manager, that shows the memory usage of each application.

What is NFC and Payment in Settings?

NFC refers to near field communication, which has applications to mobile payments. NFC allows two close proximity devices to exchange data. Both devices must have an NFC chip.

What version of Android are you running?

Apps -> Settings -> Scroll all the way down to "About Device".

The Android version will be displayed. Example: 5.1.1. At time of writing latest is version 6.0 (Marshmallow).
